Sony’s newest version of the PlayStation 5 console is a “Pro” model that promises greatly improved visuals thanks to hardware and software enhancements. But do the improvements justify its nearly $700 cost rich palm? Find out what critics are saying about the PS5 Pro.
No, I won’t do that, sorry. The current demo works as a good time capsule and introduction page. Also paying players would be very upset. Also I don’t think the current version would even run on browser 😀
World War 3 is a multiplayer military FPS set in a modern, global conflict. Strong teamplay, national armed forces, real locations, full body awareness and a versatile customization system all contribute to the authenticity of the modern combat experience enhanced by other essential elements such as a robust ballistic system, advanced armors and life-like weapons. Produced in cooperation with military R&D centers and consultants, World War 3 shows the consequences of every battle in the context of a global war campaign on a strategic war map.
There’s plenty of World War 3 gameplay footage available online, but the short version is that World War 3 is aiming to fill the gap left by Battlefield, particularly for those more interested in skill-based modern day combat.
World game
It is a game where desolation, the harsh climate, and anomalies can kill players in a matter of seconds. Every step could be their last, and even rats in the sewers merge in a horrific mass of squirming death, seeking to consume the flesh of the nearest target until there’s nothing left. Nothing can be more unsettling than playing this game in the hardest difficulty.
The company o.s. Earth, which held the intellectual property for the licensed World Game version, formatted its 2000s sessions thusly: 10 teams of randomly selected players representing each region of the world were obligated to form negotiation strategies for the sake of their ‘constituents’, the people, with the aim of meeting five smaller objectives in human rights, technology, environment, education and health and food. There were also eight teams representing facilitators: four role-played executives of fictional for-profit mega-corporations as stand-ins for the private sectors of some regions, while four represented analogs of the World Health Organization, UNESCO, UN Environment Programme, and UN Commission on Human Rights that ‘sold’ strategies. The remaining two teams represented the United Nations’ principal organs and aid programs, and the world’s news media, which would report live on the Game’s progress. Most of the action in the game centered on three 20-minute rounds of trade negotiations to ensure that all teams’ needs were met, with a few dozen minutes at the end set aside for reflection. The timespan simulated was thirty years. Points were scored based on the sum of solutions cards and currency, with very high-development regions such as Europe, Northern America and Japan starting out at about 110-140 points.

Some elements of the battle are different, like Scott’s friends not playing a role in the fight itself, but otherwise it’s surprisingly close to the comics – complete with the hilariously outdated “Piratesareinthis year!” line.

A significant proportion of the series’ 400 million-plus sales can be attributed to its fifth mainline installment, with GTA 5 having sold more than 200 million copies worldwide in the decade or so since its initial release. For those wondering, this is more than twice as many as the four previous mainline GTA games managed between them.

Two countries, across two continents far apart from one another, speaking two different primary languages, in hugely differing timezones, with fairly unique cultures. Yet both — on a small scale at least — appear to share a mutual love for a very specific game (and in this case, a specific streamer, T90, that commonly does fun streams talking about low-level Age of Empires 2 strategy).
