Another great way to practice spelling their names is by using a sensory bin. Place alphabet beads in rice or dried beans and allow students to search for the letters lasatlantis. You can also alter this and create a family sensory bin where you add in family pictures and names (mom, dad, baby, etc) and have them match the words with the photo!

It gives your preschoolers an introduction to sensory bins in way that’s not overwhelming or chaotic.
Another way you can use these vocabulary cards is by making a scavenger hunt! I tape the words all around the room and have my preschoolers search for them. Then they color in the matching pictures on the Color the Room paper (or write them on the Write the Room paper if they’re ready for that.) This gets them up and moving while still learning!

In most respects, Link’s Awakening doesn’t represent the Zelda series all that well. A few studies have found that gamers have better RTs than non-gamers. This is hardly surprising, but what may be is that this speed generalizes to various tasks (not just the specific game), and that the increased speed does not lead to a decline in accuracy. So basically, gamers process and respond faster, but they don’t lose any accuracy when doing so. Some of these studies have indicated causality by showing that RTs can be trained by game-play!

Some people may be motivated by the chance to break away from social norms and their own identity and act as another character.
